Setting up Wompi in PremiumPress
Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Wompi credentials:
- Public key — Wompi Dashboard → Developers. Use the test keys while Mode is Test.
- Private key
- Integrity secret — Signs the Web Checkout amount/reference so it can’t be tampered with in transit.
- Events secret — Verifies the events webhook checksum. Set your Wompi events URL
The buyer pays on Wompi’s hosted Web Checkout, then returns here; the transaction is confirmed APPROVED against the Wompi API before the order completes. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Wompi in WordPress?
You'll need a Wompi account and its Public key, Private key, Integrity secret and Events secret, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.
Does Wompi support recurring subscriptions?
Wompi handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.
How does the Wompi checkout work?
Real one-time payments via the Wompi Web Checkout with an integrity-signed redirect, authoritative transaction verification on return, and a checksum-verified events webhook.
