Setting up Tap Payments in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Tap Payments credentials:

• Secret key — Tap Dashboard → Developers → API Credentials. Use sk_test_ while testing, sk_live_ for live. The secret also verifies the webhook.
• Webhook URL — Copy this into Tap → Developers → Webhooks. The payload is signed with your secret key.

The buyer pays on the Tap hosted transaction page and the payment is confirmed by an authoritative charge query (status CAPTURED) before the order completes. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Tap Payments in WordPress?

You'll need a Tap Payments account and its Secret key and Webhook URL, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does Tap Payments support recurring subscriptions?

Tap Payments handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the Tap Payments checkout work?

Real one-time payments across the MENA region via the Tap hosted checkout, with authoritative charge verification and an HMAC-SHA256 signed webhook.
