Setting up Scalapay in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Scalapay credentials:

• API key — Scalapay merchant portal → Settings → API keys. Sent as a Bearer token.

Scalapay bills in EUR (and other supported European currencies); amounts are sent as decimal values. One-time payments only — no subscriptions. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Scalapay in WordPress?

You'll need a Scalapay account and its API key, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does Scalapay support recurring subscriptions?

Scalapay handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the Scalapay checkout work?

Real one-time "buy now, pay later" payments via the Scalapay Orders API (hosted redirect), with a capture-based verification on return and a webhook endpoint. No SDK — direct REST via wp_remote_request.
