Setting up Paysafe in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Paysafe credentials:

• API key ID — Merchant Portal → Settings → API Keys. The username portion of the Basic-auth key.
• API key password — The password portion of the Basic-auth API key.
• Account ID — The card-processing account (used by the Paysafe.js checkout).

The buyer enters their card on a hosted Paysafe.js page; the server charges the single-use payment handle and confirms the payment via the API and a webhook. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Paysafe in WordPress?

You'll need a Paysafe account and its API key ID, API key password and Account ID, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does Paysafe support recurring subscriptions?

Paysafe handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the Paysafe checkout work?

A hosted launch page collects the card via Paysafe.js, the server charges the single-use payment handle (Payments Hub), confirms the payment status via the API, and completes out of band via a signed webhook.
