About PayPlug

PayPlug is a French payment gateway built for small and mid-sized e-commerce, with a focus on simplicity and conversion.

Setting up PayPlug in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your PayPlug credentials:

  • Secret key — PayPlug Portal → Configuration → API keys. Use the test secret while Mode is Test. Notification URL

Amounts are sent in cents. In Test mode PayPlug shows a sandbox page — no real card is charged. Payment is confirmed against the PayPlug API before the order completes. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up PayPlug in WordPress?

You'll need a PayPlug account and its Secret key, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does PayPlug support recurring subscriptions?

PayPlug handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the PayPlug checkout work?

Real one-time payments via the PayPlug hosted-payment page, with API verification on the buyer’s return and a notification webhook that re-confirms with PayPlug before completing the order.
