Setting up PayMongo in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your PayMongo credentials:

• Secret key — PayMongo Dashboard → Developers → API Keys. Use the test secret while Mode is Test.
• Webhook signing secret — Recommended — the signing secret from your webhook. Create a webhook in PayMongo → Developers → Webhooks

One-time payments only. The buyer pays on the PayMongo-hosted Link page and returns; the order is confirmed via the Links API and the link.payment.paid webhook. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up PayMongo in WordPress?

You'll need a PayMongo account and its Secret key and Webhook signing secret, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does PayMongo support recurring subscriptions?

PayMongo handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the PayMongo checkout work?

Real one-time payments for the Philippines (cards, GCash, GrabPay, Maya) via PayMongo Links, with API verification and a signed webhook. No SDK — direct REST via wp_remote_request.
