Setting up Monnify in PremiumPress
Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Monnify credentials:
- API key — Monnify Dashboard → Settings → API Keys & Webhooks → API Key.
- Secret key — The paired secret key — used for authentication and to verify the webhook signature.
- Contract code — Your Monnify contract code (the numeric merchant contract).
- Webhook URL — Copy this into Monnify → Settings → API Keys & Webhooks → Transaction Completion URL.
The buyer pays on the Monnify hosted checkout and the payment is confirmed by an authoritative transaction query (paymentStatus PAID) before the order completes. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Monnify in WordPress?
You'll need a Monnify account and its API key, Secret key, Contract code and Webhook URL, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.
Does Monnify support recurring subscriptions?
Monnify handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.
How does the Monnify checkout work?
Real one-time payments via the Monnify hosted checkout, with authoritative transaction verification and an HMAC-SHA512 signed webhook.
