Setting up iPay88 in PremiumPress
Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your iPay88 credentials:
- Merchant code — iPay88 Merchant Portal → your merchant account’s Merchant Code.
- Merchant key — The Merchant Key paired with your Merchant Code — used to sign the request and verify responses.
- Currency — The currency your iPay88 account is enabled for (usually MYR). Overrides the store currency for this gateway.
Set the iPay88 backend/response URL to %s. Payments are signed with SHA256 and verified on return and via the backend notification. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up iPay88 in WordPress?
You'll need a iPay88 account and its Merchant code, Merchant key and Currency, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.
Does iPay88 support recurring subscriptions?
iPay88 handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.
How does the iPay88 checkout work?
A SHA256-signed auto-POST redirect to the iPay88 hosted payment page, with signature-verified confirmation on the buyer’s return and via the backend server notification.
