Setting up Instamojo in PremiumPress
Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Instamojo credentials:
- API key — Instamojo Dashboard → Integrations → API & Plugins.
- Auth token
- Private salt — Used to verify the webhook signature. Set the webhook URL in Instamojo
Amounts are sent in rupees (decimal, minimum ₹9). Payment is confirmed against the Instamojo API before the order completes. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Instamojo in WordPress?
You'll need a Instamojo account and its API key, Auth token and Private salt, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.
Does Instamojo support recurring subscriptions?
Instamojo handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.
How does the Instamojo checkout work?
Real one-time payments via Instamojo Payment Requests, with API verification on the buyer’s return and an HMAC-SHA1 signed webhook that re-confirms before completing the order.
