Setting up Fawry in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Fawry credentials:

• Merchant code — Your FawryPay merchant code (merchantCode).
• Security key — The secret security key — used to sign the charge request and verify the status query.

The buyer pays on the Fawry hosted checkout and the payment is confirmed by an authoritative status query (paymentStatus PAID) before the order completes. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Fawry in WordPress?

You'll need a Fawry account and its Merchant code and Security key, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does Fawry support recurring subscriptions?

Fawry handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the Fawry checkout work?

A SHA-256 signed charge redirect to the Fawry hosted checkout, with authoritative payment-status verification on the buyer's return.
