Setting up DOKU in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your DOKU credentials:

• Client ID — DOKU Dashboard → Integration → your Client ID (BRN-…).
• Secret key — The Secret Key paired with your Client ID — signs requests and verifies notifications. Set your DOKU notification URL

Requests are HMAC-SHA256-signed. The buyer pays on DOKU’s hosted page; the order completes via the signature-verified notification. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up DOKU in WordPress?

You'll need a DOKU account and its Client ID and Secret key, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does DOKU support recurring subscriptions?

DOKU handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the DOKU checkout work?

Creates an HMAC-SHA256-signed Checkout payment, redirects the buyer to the DOKU hosted page, and completes the order via a signature-verified HTTP notification. No SDK — direct REST via wp_remote_request.
