Setting up Checkout.com in PremiumPress
Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Checkout.com credentials:
- Secret key — Dashboard → Settings → Channels. Bearer secret key; use the sandbox key while Mode is Test.
- Processing channel ID — Optional. Required on some accounts — the channel to route these payments through.
- Webhook signature key — Recommended. Add a webhook in Dashboard → Settings → Webhooks
Test card: 4242 4242 4242 4242, any future expiry, any CVV. Amounts are sent in the minor unit (×100). The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Checkout.com in WordPress?
You'll need a Checkout.com account and its Secret key, Processing channel ID and Webhook signature key, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.
Does Checkout.com support recurring subscriptions?
Checkout.com handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.
How does the Checkout.com checkout work?
Real one-time payments via hosted Payment Links, with authoritative API verification on return and a signed (cko-signature) webhook for out-of-band confirmation.
