Setting up BlueSnap in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your BlueSnap credentials:

• API username — Merchant Console → Settings → API Settings. The Basic-auth username.
• API password — The Basic-auth API password paired with the username.

The buyer enters their card on a hosted Hosted-Payment-Fields page; the server creates the transaction and confirms it via the API and an IPN. Set the IPN URL in your Merchant Console. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up BlueSnap in WordPress?

You'll need a BlueSnap account and its API username and API password, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does BlueSnap support recurring subscriptions?

BlueSnap handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the BlueSnap checkout work?

A hosted launch page collects the card via BlueSnap Hosted Payment Fields, the server creates the transaction (Payment API), confirms the SUCCESS status via the API, and completes out of band via an IPN.
