About Authorize.Net

Authorize.Net is a long-established US payment gateway, now part of Visa, trusted by hundreds of thousands of merchants.

Setting up Authorize.Net in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Authorize.Net credentials:

  • API Login ID — Merchant Interface → Account → Settings → API Credentials & Keys.
  • Transaction Key
  • Signature Key — Used to verify webhook signatures. Add a webhook for net.authorize.payment.authcapture.created

One-time card payments via Accept Hosted. Amounts are sent with 2 decimal places. Recurring billing (ARB) is not used by this flow. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Authorize.Net in WordPress?

You'll need a Authorize.Net account and its API Login ID, Transaction Key and Signature Key, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does Authorize.Net support recurring subscriptions?

Authorize.Net handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the Authorize.Net checkout work?

One-time payments via a hosted payment page, with authoritative transaction verification and a signed webhook.
