Setting up 2Checkout in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your 2Checkout credentials:

• Merchant code — Control Panel → Integrations → Webhooks & API. Your seller/merchant code.
• Buy-link secret word — Integrations → Webhooks & API → Secret word for the ConvertPlus buy-link signature.
• IPN secret word — Integrations → Webhooks & API → IPN settings. Point the IPN URL at

The buyer pays on 2Checkout’s hosted ConvertPlus page; the order is completed by the md5_hash-verified IPN. Enable the IPN in your Control Panel. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up 2Checkout in WordPress?

You'll need a 2Checkout account and its Merchant code, Buy-link secret word and IPN secret word, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does 2Checkout support recurring subscriptions?

2Checkout handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the 2Checkout checkout work?

A signed ConvertPlus hosted-checkout redirect, with payment confirmed authoritatively by the md5_hash-verified Instant Notification Service (IPN).
