Setting up 2C2P in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your 2C2P credentials:

• Merchant ID — 2C2P Merchant Portal → your merchant profile → Merchant ID.
• Secret key — The Merchant SHA / secret key used to sign the JWT request and verify responses.

Requests and responses are JWT-signed (HS256). The buyer pays on the 2C2P hosted page and is confirmed via a signed Payment Inquiry on return. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up 2C2P in WordPress?

You'll need a 2C2P account and its Merchant ID and Secret key, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does 2C2P support recurring subscriptions?

2C2P handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the 2C2P checkout work?

Creates a JWT-signed Payment Token, redirects the buyer to the 2C2P hosted payment page, and confirms via a JWT-signed Payment Inquiry on return. No SDK — direct REST via wp_remote_request.
