Success Fees ?

I’m just not getting how this works, maybe someone can shed some light on this for me ?

Let’s say someone bids on a sellers item and they have met the reserve price and the auction ends. Now the next step should be to make payment for the auction the bidder won. Now assuming the seller has entered their PayPal email address in their backend, the buyer when using the pay now option will be making payment to the sellers PayPal address directly, is this correct ?

If that’s correct then here is where I’m getting confused… How do I get my success fee commission that I have set in the admin? If the percentage is deducted from the payment the bidder is making to the seller, how does it end up going to me ? Or is it invoiced to the seller to pay the commission fee ? I’m just not understanding how exactly the commission fee is paid to me and when. If someone could explain this to me like I’m a first grader it would be greatly appreciated.
