removing fe.png / Featured

    I am not using the featured image fe.png (the Featured ribbon)
    And I would like to stop it from being requested by my website.

    It is not visible but it is the last item to load when analyzing page speed using https://tools.pingdom.com/

    path: wp-content/themes/CP/framework/img/fe.png

    How do I disable this or stop it from loading?
