Hi, I’m using the Responsive Business Directory Theme and I’m trying to setup a site where we make use of your options to sell listings and memberships. From your help videos it seems like the idea is that you DON’T need to choose a membership package if you just want a listing, but you DO need to register. I see that on the add a listing page you can register as part of the process (which I have enabled).
My question is:
If a new user visits the site and clicks on the “Register” link top right of the template, why are they asked to register and then FORCED to choose a membership package? Why can’t they buy a listing instead of a membership package when they register?
Most of my users just purchase a single listing rather than a membership package with multiple listings, so I’m confused as why the “default” navigation path seems to push users to register with a membership package and not mention listings at all. Also, when you go to the template “LOGIN” link, the “New to our website” box also takes you to the same register page that doesn’t allow you to buy a listing, just multiple listing memberships.
Am I missing something!?
Many thanks in advance for anyone that can shed any light on this issue.
