Posts Setting to Draft When Should Not Be On Expiry

I am running couponpress responsive and my issue is that the expired posts are setting to draft even though they all have an expiry date associated with them and the plugin has been set to not set them to draft when they expire, just to move them to expired deals?

I am having to manually republish them which is far from a good thing.

I have a support request open but so far there has been a lack of response? Any feedback would be good.
