Membership Only Recurring Payments

Do I have to set up listing packages in order to use recurring payments for membership packages. What if I do not want to allow listings at all and want to only provide membership packages on a monthly basis with access to all content.

So if I just wanted one recurring monthly price, wouldn’t I add one membership package:

1 month membership 30 days $14.99

I also want to use stripe for recurring payments rather than paypal too.
So I would then set up stripe but I do not see recurring payment on stripe. Can this be changed because I know stripe allows for recurring payments.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
