Hi,
I was under the impression that the button “Disable Expired Actions” set to “on” under General Settings > Search/Listing Page > Listing Page Settings, would turn off expiry dates on listings (please see attachment). However, when I turn it on, nothing happens.
If someone is wondering why I would like to have expiry dates off on the Video theme, my plan is to allow all registered users to post videos for free and with no expiry dates (no packages or memberships), so I can attract traffic to the site where I can sell ads. Having a video with an expiry date (however far that might be – ie. 999 days) would create me a major administrative headache and would send users a message that their video posts are somewhat temporary which affects user loyalty.
The idea is more or less similar to Youtube, where I eventually want to advertise over the videos – the more the videos, the better.
So, back to my question, what does that setting do?
