Listing Expiry

I don’t want listings to expire.

I have removed the all the listing packages and all the membership packages.
I have turned on do thing when listing expires.

but still when I create a new listing it adds a 1 month expiry count down, I know it wont expire when it counts down, but I would have thought the listing would have defaulted not set.

any ideas why it does not go to not set rather than a 1month count down
