Individual search page by category

Hi,

I have a problem and hoping someone in this forum has encountered or will be able to help.

I am using the version 8.9 of the real estate theme, which is great, but lacking a feature I need. I have created two categories for property listing called “For sale” and “To rent”. I want a page with the advanced search plugin which only searches for properties listing in each specific category so that:

For sale – Advance search will only search properties for sale
To rent – Advanced search will only search properties to rent.

There will be other categories created in the future, with the same search requirement. Ideally I’d like this additional functionality created in a child theme so it will survive future upgrade of this theme.

If there are any WordPress developers out there able to help please contact me as Premium press apparently do not offer support to any custom work and modification of functions.
