How to display a category in home page Tabs

    Hi Guys,
    I know there are a lot of forum posts out there in regards to displaying different things in the tabs widget on the home page. However, i have tried all of them and non really works.

    What I would like to do is to display a specific category and there subcategories in one of the homepage tabs.

    Can some one please help me to find a short code or a taxonomy code which works?
