I have a customer who is looking to see if anyone has developed in the auction where the owner of the website holds the money for all the sales via the website, like an Escrow?
1. Seller is selling a vintage watch
2. Buyer buys the watch in auction
3. Buyer sends the money to auction and owner of website holds the money
4. Seller gets a notice that their product has been sold.
5. Seller sends the product to Buyer
6. When Buyer signs for goods, the owner releases the funds minus owner of website commission.
These are my customer words
When ” auctions ” receive funds you are informed. You must then forward items by registered mail within three working days. When items have been received by the buyer and receipt received by you from the mailing company. You then inform ” auctions ” your payment will be despatched 14 days later. Providing no dispute has been opened.
It’s a form of Escrow but the owner of the website is Escrow.
