display a category on homepage listing carousel

Hi
I am using the shop theme and I am tying to display a single category on the home page carousel.
I have created a category on called second floor the slug is second-floor it’s id is 57.

I have tried various queries but cant get it to work.
example below of what I have tried.
taxonomy=product&slug=second-floor

Even tried
cat=second floor
