Discrepancies with Checkout Basket

Hi there,

We are having a different problem now. We’ve put a quantity available for a product as 5.

On the product listing page if a customer adds a quantity of 12, it says its added to the basket (even though we only have 5 in stock), but then you view the basket, it amends it to 5. However, the customer shouldn’t be able to add more than 5 in the first place, if 5 isn’t available?

Additionally, using this same example, if the customer added between 1 and 5 of this product in the basket and then in the basket, press the plus button numerous times, you can get more of the product in your basket than are available.

Is there anyway to fix this as it is a bit misleading for customers to be able to add more than that is available.
