Creating Child Theme for CSS

I am trying to overwrite some code from wp-content/themes/DT/framework/css/css.core_styles.css

I placed the required code to overwrite a style in the child theme which is located in: /wp-content/themes/DT-child/style.css

I used the top code as:

Theme Name: DT-Child
Template: DT
*/
@import url(“../DT/style.css”);
/* =Theme customization starts here

Nothing seems to be working. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
