I want to redesign my coupon site offline to avoid problems during design / dev.
1) I installed WAMP, the DBs, WP, and copied my entire site’s over to my WAMP server.
2) Logged in to WP admin, updated all plugins and WP
Site works 90% great. Same code. Same plugins (except jetpack). Same Theme and Child.
The only thing not working are how the coupon listings are displayed on localhost. Interestingly enough, the entire HTML for the coupons/listings is different.
On the live site after loading, the coupon container is displayed in a DIV: <div class="itemdata ctype1 itemid742 item-742 col-xs-12">
On the localhost site after loading, the coupon container is now an article?!! <article id="post-742" class="post-742 listing_type type-listing_type status-publish format-standard has-post-thumbnail hentry">
This local host “article” version lacks all styling and links – it’s just basic text.
Any ideas on what would cause this simply by running this on localhost?
