Okay, so it appears that it isn’t possible to use dynamic URl’s with the Auction theme. This seems completely counter intuitive, as the theme supports unlimited “categories” yet ignores that and forces us to use /listing/ for ALL of our URls.
Totally pointless.
This isn’t good at all for SEO, infact it’s terrible.
I’ve read countless threads here over the past 2 hours of site owners trying to find a solution to this, and have to say, anyone upgrading and changing their URls on the fly are doing an enormous amount of damage to their sites by doing so.
I’m hopeful that there has been a change in this, or the team of Premium Press have a proposed solution to this problem.
Ideally, we should be able to set the PremiumPress Custom Slugs to /%category%/
This is basic permalink functionality of WordPress. Its installed by default.
Really desperate for a solution here. It doesn’t make sense at all to have all of my URls using “listing”.
