BLog Article Structure – Custom posts?

Hi, I have installed new real estate responsive and before testing and trying out the whole day, I would like to know, if there has finally a real blog solution happened in the new themes.

So, creating a listing is NOT interfering with normal blog posts anymore?

I would like to have the normal blog page template to list blog posts from any category, that shows infos, updates and blogging (you call it) and NOT to show listing from real estate.

So, real estate listing AND blog posts in other categories are my goal…
Are the listings finally a custom post, that goes along with normal wordpress blogging feature?
