extra field options not working

So I would like to add additional options to my job listing page, but can’t seem to get it to work…
I’ve added the short code: [FIELDS show=”field1|field2|field3|field4″ hide=”my_custom_field”] into the post page that it belongs to in the “listing information” section.

Am I not using this short code correctly? or is it where I am placing the short code? or neither?
