Change size of Map Directory Press Responsive Theme

How can I change the size of the map. Even if it needs to be the width of the page, I want to shorten it, as I am trying to focus on Canada. I would like it to be about half the vertical space it now occupies. I would be even happier if I could decrease it both from the top and from the bottom — so that Canadian Provinces show — but not the North West Territories and not the US. Doing this would allow the viewer to immediately see there is more than that map on the first page. Even more important on my phone, as it doesn’t scroll out of the way easily on my phone. If I didn’t know there was anything below it, I would leave that page.
