Short Code problems

Hello, after updating I notice that the comments can no longer be managed? A user is no longer notified that comment has been made. Also after adding a comment short code to the page the color of the button is green. The color tool doesn’t affect this button. Also the when I place a short code for contact it only show as the contact form instead of a button. Any help would do. Thank you.
