Sorry to sound like a broken record but does this theme actually use adaptive payments?
I asked the other day about why as a seller after I login once an item is sold it asks for the 10% (Clive helped me here by answering it is how the theme works) however I have just spent half an hour on the phone with Paypal and they are confused and I need to make sure I get this sorted before I go live.
From what Paypal told me, adaptive payments means the seller should not have to make a separate payment of the 10% commission. The 10% is taken from the overall amount and diverted to my account. The seller then receives a separate sum minus the 10% but crucially only one transaction takes place, ie: the buyers.
Paypal said that the extra step of the seller having to make another payment shows it is no adaptive payments and therefore will refuse an application to utilise the adaptive payment technology.
That all leaves me rather confused! Can anyone explain it to me like I am 5?! Thanks.
