User background photo

Hi, users cannot change their user background photos. If you are a member or user you can upload a user photo by installing the user photo plug in and clicking on the upload button on the my account page. However the background image (reddish coloured clouds by default) seems to be changed by logging in to account, and clicking on view profile from the author widget. Then a small button appears at the top of the background picture. One would assume that clicking on this would enable a photo upload but nothing happens. Does anyone know how to get this to work?
