I noticed you are using Directorypress V7.1.3, Probably u need to upgrade it to V7.1.4. Who knows if it can make a difference regarding Key Word Search…. :). Also see once again just to make sure that the settings are correct. Clearing the website cache, and browser cache can also make a difference especially when you are using any cache plugins.
Regarding green button I had noticed it before. This issue is there with many other websites I had seen in the Premiumpress showcase. Probably you need to notify Mark about it by raising a ticket. It may not be a bug in the system; probably that is how search functionality is configured in the theme.
