PremiumPress non-responsive to responsive theme transger

Note you should download this plugin from your admin area under the extra plugins tab within the responsive theme options. Hi Guys This is a beta plugin, its beta because although its worked on 100% of the sites iv tried so far, iv only tried 24 sites so its not enough to say its 100%. Use this plugin to transfer your posts and basic content from the non-responsive version to the new responisve version. Note, this is for content only, NOT design or customization. Those cannot be transfered.

@ last reply: I have got success transferring my posts to new responsive theme. But few glitches.

    1. Store name not updated.
    2. Earlier in my non-responsive theme the permalink was

But in new theme it is automatically comes as

even if I select permalink as post name.
My doubt : If someone gets in from Google with a URL of
then will it be automatically transferred to the new version of permalink?

    Please guide me.

    Regards,

    Hi Debasmita:

If you have a site well ranked by any search engine, converting the non-responsive into responsive will destroy your ranking. This is due to the way in which permalinks are now working in the new version. A lot of 404 errors will show up.
This have been fully explained in old threads. So be careful.
    Good luck!

    Hi all
I’ve read through all of these posts. I’m currently using version ShopperPress version and want to upgrade to Responsive. The child theme in use is one of the ones that were included in it, “November 2011 blue”. My question is, do I need to recreate a child theme for the new Responsive theme or will the upgrade pick up all of my settings?
    Thanks,
    Frank
