Php ini Import Settings Isuue

Hi
I am having problems importing products, getting an error 500 code after just 45 seconds, importing just 2,165 products using datafeedr, gets to 1,952.
Have set php i.n.i settings to :
max_execution_time = 18000 ;
max_input_time= 18000 ;
memory_limit = 512M ;
upload_max_filesize = 20M ;
post_max_size = 20M ;
max_input_vars = 3000 ; : (added this as it was not listed in the file.)

Dedicated server details :

RAM 64 GB DDR3 RAM
Hard Drive 2 x 3 TB SATA 6 Gb/s HDD
7200 rpm (Software-RAID 1)

Am i missing a setting that would cause this timeout? shopper press version 7.14 default blue theme.
