Listing Image Sizing

As I’m working on adding listings I’m realizing that one image sized differently throws off the whole layout on the front page. Since it will be sellers uploading images this is gonna be a problem,

Is there any way to force images which appear in the “recent listings” widget on the front page show a cropped version of the photo so that they all appear the same size? Or are there any plans to correct this in the future?

This is an issue with titles as well. A long title causes all the other boxes to expand on the front page. Image attached.
