Issue Creating New Widgets

    Hello,

    I have a new installation of WP and DP.

    When I click on Appearance / Widgets there are limited choice of widgets that I can create and there is no sidebar.

    In addition to the above, when I click Screen Options and Help nothing happens??

    I am new to both WP and DP so am I missing something obvious here?
