How to Turn Off “Contact Business” button in Title block

In 10.8.1 on the Listing Pages, the Title Block now contains a “Contact Business” button which opens up the site’s internal messaging system.
My users overwhelmingly dislike this message system for communicating with clients. But I see no way to “turn off” that button.
Is there such a thing or would I have to edit the core files? If so, any idea which one?
