How to display only certain category/taxonomy listings on home page

    Can anyone please share with me the code to use to only show a subset of listings (not determined by featured/home page enhanced etc) but determined by one particular category or taxonomy value.
    i.e show only listings from taxonomy key listtype = special offer.
    Tried using
    [CTAX key=listtype] as per note on taxonomy setup section but there is probably more to it…. please help!!
