"Export Listing" button in the back-end

I am currently investigating the creation of a SmartPhone App to complement my website (www.you-food.co.uk, uses DirectoryPress), and one of the requirements would be to be able to transfer a Listing at the touch of a button into the App database, as there will be no “cosy” direct interface between the two. I would see this taking the form of a button to be added to the back-end view of a Listing which says “Export Listing to App”. The functionality would then take the images, text, tags and taxonomies from the database for that Listing, and send it in a pre-defined format (whatever works best) to a destination address which the App developer has allocated to receive the data. The App developer deals with processing that data to put it into the App in an appropriate way.

It could be useful if this would work for Articles as well, and less importantly Pages, but my guess is that having made it work for Listings, it would be fairly straightforward to make it work for Articles and Pages too.

Does anyone know of an existing plug-in to do this?
