excerpt field – feature request

Know it’s been discussed in the past – but there are no longer excerpt fields in the listing manager in Shopperpress.
Where instead the ‘product summary’ simply takes the first few words from the listing information details. It is possible to change this by re-saving the product as a post, add the excerpt and then re-saving it as a listing.
Wouldn’t it be a lot easier to simply add the excerpt option in the add new listing page ?
