I’m hoping someone will recognize what I’m seeing and point me in a direction that will help me fix a problem I am seeing in the CSV Import Plugin’s exported file from my Responsive SP Shop theme store. When I export my listings and look at each “hits_array” field, there is a varying-length string of what looks like hits tracking data in every listing data row in the CSV.
The problem is that sometimes this “hits_array” field overflows the 256-byte field length, causing all following fields in the listing row to be written over and extended into an additional row in the file for that listing entry. This mixes up the data in the rows and columns for that listing entry, and makes the CSV file useless for future imports, even when I delete the “hits_array” column. This happens often enough in my 2000+ listings that manually trying to fix them all is a rather daunting task.
I’ve attached a file containing one “hits_array” field from one listing entry that caused this problem. Does anyone know where this data comes from, and how to remove it from the database records? This data does not show up when I view or edit the listing in Listing Manager.
I’ve already explored one possible source: I’m using the WP Statistics plugin. I’ve removed all of their database tables and the plugin itself, but this data remains in each listing record. And I’m told that their plugin doesn’t record data in the actual post or listing records. They record all tracking data in their own tables, which I deleted.
