Okay, I am a complete “Newbie” and I have been going through the forum trying to find an answer and have implemented the suggestions but still having issues. I have the ShopperPress 7.1.4 theme. I am trying to add a child theme – I have tried basic flower shop, basic pet shop and the classifieds one. They all said I needed to upload the parent theme – when it was there all along. I got this message “This theme is broken. The parent theme is missing. Please install the “ST” parent theme.” I then read about changing the [XXX] in the style.css. I tried both ST and DT to no avail so I then put in shopperpress in that spot instead and they edited fine and loaded in to where I could activate them. Thing is, my site doesn’t look like them at all it stays looking like the shopper press default theme. What am I doing wrong?? Please help 🙁
