Another Way To Convert CSV Products To Responsive Listings

I tried Mark’s plugin to take a CSV file upload it to a responsive theme and then convert the “posts” to a listing-manager custom type.

This is the third site I am working on and every time I get an error Please set your “WordPress permalinks to ‘default’ before performing any transfers”.

I set the permalinks to default but it does not change the error.

Desperate I looked a plugin I used in the past to convert posts to page and page to posts to see I could not convert the posts to listings.

And it worked. Happiness.

Let me tell you what I did as others may find it useful:

I am using an xml/csv file from an affiliate site to populate my website.

I use this most amazing import plugin https://www.wpallimport.com/ to upload content to my responsive site. You need a degree to use it, but the support is great.

I believe it can direct upload to the Listing-manager but I have not tried it. Today I used it to upload products to posts and use the other converter plugin to convert it from a post to a listing.
