Advanced Search Widget – no results

So I thought I would finally restart testing the responsive real estate theme to eventually migrate over from v7 themes. So far not too bad, I have not found a slider that does what v7 does but that is for another day.

What I have done is wipe all listings and create a single listing and added a category and location (via google map) and after publishing this test listing I was testing the advanced search and I have tried search by “Category”, State and City and none of them are working.

So I am scratching my head on what I have done wrong in the setup. Any help would be appreciated. The test site link and the test listing page links are below.
